Children's Ministry @ RAC
At Roseburg Alliance Church, we count it an awesome privilege and responsibility to represent the love of Jesus to the children in our church and community. We strive to meet kids at their developmentally appropriate level through interactive Bible lessons, outreach opportunities and family involvement. Additionally, we are committed to creating a church environment that reflects God’s love by offering physically and emotionally safe spaces for our children and families, training and equipping for volunteers and open communication with families.
OUR VISION
Our vision in Children’s Ministry is to influence all children within our reach with the Gospel message, portray the love of Christ in our church Body and engage families in partnership as they raise disciples of Jesus Christ.
sunday morning
Children’s classes are available during both services (9am and and 10:45am) for birth-5th grade. All children may be checked in at the RACkids kiosk in the lobby and then escorted by a parent to their classroom. Children may be picked up at their classroom after the service. Kids of all ages are also welcome in the sanctuary and overflow seating area during service.
*Because we value the presence of our children as part of the bigger Body of Christ, whenever there is a 5th Sunday in a month (about every 3 months) we incorporate our families into the main service. This means that there will only be classes for nursery-preschool during 1st service and nursery-toddler second service. We realize that kids make noise and like to move. That's ok! We welcome your busy kiddos in the sanctuary with the rest of the congregation.

We hope that this can be an encouragement to pray together as a family, learn through practice how to talk to God and listen to God, and perhaps establish some new habits that point us all to Jesus.
