There is a challenging sand dune near Hall Lake which is across the highway and about a mile drive to the parking lot.

The waters of Eel Lake are outstanding for fishing, swimming, canoeing, sailing and boating.

A trail around the south end of the lake allows hikers to get away from the developed area of the park and explore the lakes many inlets.

This is not a lake for small kids...we remember that it looked deep.

The Umpqua Lighthouse towers above the entrance to Winchester Bay.  The 65-foot lighthouse contains a distinctive lens which emits a red and white flash.

Winchester Bay, 15 miles north, with a crabbing dock, eating places, beach access a short drive.
